Hello all.

Hope you are all enjoying this lovely weather Razz

My doctor has started my on fentanyl patches as no other pain med has really worked and he doesn't want me on oromorph.

I only put the first patch on about 40 minutes ago, and the doc said it will take up to 12 hours before the first one starts to work.

Has anyone one else used these patches before and if so, how did you find them?

I was started on 12mg patches (that last 72) and he only gave my a prescription for 2 do he can always increase the dosage until they have the desired effect.

Hi Amy

Sorry I haven't tried these - but they sound interesting. I use oromorph when desperate! My GP was quite happy prescribing it.

I'll look forward to reading some of the answers.
